As downtown Orlando continues to grow so does the selection of great restaurants and things to do in Orlando. The opening of the downtown publix is less then 30 days away and the movie theater is a go and will be finished in just a few months.
Today I decided to go for a walk in the heat and try this hamburger place that I heard about. It's called Hamburger Mary's. Wow what an awesome burger, amazing fries and stellar atmosphere with a twist.
So you want to know more about Mary?
"It all started in San Francisco back in 1972, where our casual style "family dining" concept was born. So what makes Mary's so special? Hamburger Mary's are "open-air bar and grilles for open-minded people," where guests enjoy a flamboyant dining experience. Their concept is unique in that we are the ONLY national franchise actively marketing to the gay community."
To top it off whenever a train goes by they announce a $3 tequilla shot special. The atmosphere is fun, lively and they even have entertainment.
I received my bill in a red high heel shoe, I even tried to take my red shoe home with me, it was my size after all. :)
So if you live downtown like me or just visiting the area, make sure to grab a bite to eat at Hamburger Mary's located on Church street in the Old Church Street Station, I promise you wont be disappointed.

"Always work with a Realtor when selling a home. Would you hire a Realtor who has never sold a house before, knows nothing about real estate law, contract negotiation, or sales? Of course not – but that describes you. Don’t hire yourself – hire a real estate sales professional." ~ Ric Edelman
