Is it really possible? Am I that good looking? Well, of course it is, but over the past 3 months I think I'm getting even better looking and healthier and it is even building my business.

You see over the past 3 months I've been doing a few things different in my business. I have been doing more door knocking, looking for buyers and sellers. Mondays and Fridays I door knock on Apartments, and on Tuesdays on FSBOs and expireds. But, two weeks ago my mom was told by the doctor she needs to exercise more and she knew I needed to lose weight also.

So everyday at 7am, I am walking with my parents in a different neighborhood, saying hi to the neighbors and dropping off flyers to people that we see leaving for work. It gets me out their and helps me build my business, and my recognition, as well as helps me lose weight.

I am happy to say my pants that used to be tight, now need a belt and I've gotten a few new buyers and two potential sellers from my walks with mom and dad. So here is to my leaving gym and building my business even more than I was when I started this.

Todd, I think you may have over done it! I can't even see you in the "After" shot. How does this work with the FISBOS if they can't see you? ;>)

Todd,

Keep it up.  I've started with "core" muscle building exercises.  Everything helps.  Keep up the good work and be proud of all of you accomplishments.

Great idea.  I think if we could all trade our gym cards for time spent door-knocking and meeting new people in our neighborhood, we would all benefit tremendously.

My son just joined our city's little league football and man the contacts I made today was great.  And this was only the first practice.

So I totally agree with your saying get out there and make things happen for you.  It could benefit you health wise and business wise as well.

Todd, way to go.  I exercise like crazy but now that I am older (49 next month), it's harder and harder to stay thin... I'm Italian and I love to eat and drink red wine.  Walking is great for you and the social aspect for your business is priceless.

TODD - It looks like you might have overdone it.  Your after picture shows that your withering away to nothing. :-).  Congrats on mixing business with exercise and being a good son.

Todd

Do you attribute a lot of your success to your good looks? Keep up the great work.

Sincerely

Hi Todd - Too Cute!!!  You look kinda shy in the before shot, but you look like you've wasted away to nothing in the after-shot ;-)  All kidding aside, I love what you're doing - such a great way to get back to basics and everyone wins.  Congrats on all the new business!

Todd, It is great that you are spending time with your parents.  By the way, I can't see your after picture.

Linda - Oh, that picture was because I was embarrassed to wear that shirt, I had lost a bet to the wonderful Linda Scanlan here is that post.

Linda - Yeah, I thought you would like that picture.

Don - Ok, Ok, I've updated the photo to say that will be coming when I hit 170lbs.

Tracy - I started the core building also, that is how I got the core I have now. A large burger and fries built up my core! (LOL)

MeLisa - I don't think I will ever be joining a summer league again, that was just too hot, I thought I was going to die when my daughter started summer baseball a couple years ago.

Karen - I have to admit in the last couple days, my energy level has changed a lot. The first couple weeks required some downtime for me. (NAP) I would like to say it was just a power nap, like I've always taken, but we were talking passing out naps!

Susan - I too love to eat and I wish I could blame drinking on my weight gain, but my wife is just a good baker and cook and you know I have to test things and lick the beaters.

Mary - Now that is inspiration...I just want to look better in a Trail Blazer's jersey than I do in Dallas Maverick's jersey. (That was for you Linda)

Re/Max of Sonora - I agree and I think that is partially why mom and dad wanted me to walk with them.

Lloyd - Thanks and I can't wait to put the "AFTER" picture up. It will probably be at least 3-5 months though, I have a long way to go.

Todd, I don't bake well, and the only reason I do bake is so I can lick the beaters!!  LOL!
