There are five wineries on the Bedford County Wine Trail in Virginia. Recently we stopped in at the Savoy Lee Winery in Huddleston on the way to Smith Mountain Lake. This is a small family winery that opened in September of 2005 but they produce a wide variety of award winning wines.

If you're out in the country this weekend, stop in and say hi to owner David Wood at the Savoy-Lee Winery. If you visit all of the wineries on the Trail and have your brochure stamped, the Bedford County Welcome Center has a free gift for you. To learn more about the other wineries on the Bedford County Wine Trail, go to: Peaks of Otter Winery, Hickory Hill Vineyards & Winery, White Rock Vineyards & Winery or LeoGrande Vineyards & Winery. If you would like to be added to Savoy-Lee's email list, go to www.savoy-lee.com.
