My wife and I saw this movie over the weekend. (yea we are slow, what can I tell you).
If you haven't seen the movie and plan on seeing it do not read this blog as I do not want to give away what happens in the movie to you.
Yea sure it would be nice to have the money to do whatever you want the last few months of your life. My question is why wait until the end to enjoy the ride.
What if you don't have the money to do everything you would do if money were no object. Could you still do some of the things that are on your bucket list? Do you have your own bucket list?
After the movie Karen and I talked. There are several things we would both like to do that do not require a ton of money, they just require a little planning. Some of which we started doing before we saw the movie.
My thoughts turned to the younger generation. Depending on your current age will determine what you consider the younger generation. We are old to someone and young to someone else. It is all perspective. What matters most is the age you feel in your mind.(Ignore what your body is telling you it doesn't know any better..lol).
You think you have all this time and then like in the movie WAM 45 years have passed by. You look back and say where did it go.
So think about your bucket list.. put a few things down to start with that are doable in the next year or two and work toward them. Do them and cross them off the list. For each one you cross off the list add one more. It will give you something to look forward to and it will fulfill some of your dreams as you go.
Have fun with it. Life is short in the grand scheme of things.
Sincerely,
Bill
