So what can a seller do? the key is to price the property competitively, forget about the prices people were getting a few years ago, this is a buyer's market.

•·     Your house will sell for a price that a consumer is willing to pay.

•·     A reality check might involve getting an appraisal done.

I still say it is a good time to buy and there are deals to be had.

Carol there were actually 6 sales.  2 in the town, 3 in the village and a townhouse in the village.  Did you check the average price or those sold?
