Liz:  Yes, it really is a gorgeous home.  It is a builder's home in SouthWest Fort Worth... and really is stunning... especially for the price.

If you like the "just looking" to "let's get serious" tag line... it is borrowed from the lovely and talented Ms Margaret Woda from up in Crofton, Maryland.  She is an Active Rain blogger... and I think may have made the very first comment on my first post last August 21, 2007 when I first started on Active Rain.  Margaret is a dear person, and in my opinion, has one of the best "neighborhood expert" blogs in the country.  Liz, I wish I had thought of it, but Margaret deserves credit for it.  Hi Margaret... (waving... waving... )

Rich:  Yes... a very beautiful home.  And, it's in a great area in SouthWest Fort Worth.  I am sure the pricing looks like a real steal when looked at by folks from out of state... and yes, this one is priced well.  But... you do get a lot of home for the money in Fort Worth, Texas.  And... Rich... I can put one aside for you if you wish... :)

Karen Anne, I like the exterior turret look of a castle. Very unique. Nice countertops in the kitchen too. Good luck with the sale! I also missed Margaret when she just came into town. She was extra busy with her daughter's new place.

Hi Karen Anne... I love a house with a turret.  My tastes typically run more contemporary than medieval, but for some reason a turret ALWAYS capture my eye and my imagination.  This one looks like it should move FAST at the reduced price.  Good luck with it!

Gary:  That exterior turret surely gives the home the look of a castle.  Now all we need is a moat, a whole bunch of water, and some alligators... and we're all set.  Just wait until the kids try to come over on Halloween... LOL.

Steve:  I like the turret, too.  It is difficult for me to like the contemporary styles.  I guess I like the more medieval designs because I was born during that time period... :)  Sir Lancelot, Lady Guenevere, Lady Karen Anne.  Everything just looks so much like "home" to me.  And thanks for your good wishes... I already have had a call on it.  So... ya just never know... ya just never know.  Again... thanks for your kind words... take care...

Katherine:  Yes, it actually seems kind of incredible... but the price of this home is really kind of typical for homes of this type and size.  Perhaps it is the fact that we have so much land here in Fort Worth to build on.  That... all by itself... keeps prices down.  Thanks for your kind words... take care...

Well I think its cool that you acknowledged her....:-)  I can't believe how inexpensive the house is......here it would be ummm......600,000 plus?

Liz:  I could very easily have accepted your compliment without crediting Margaret... but I would have known it wasn't my clever mind that came up with it, but Margaret's.  I have learned much from Margaret... and consider her a friend.

Now... the price of this cool home.  Yes... this is normal here.  Prices have notdropped.  Values are stable, and are very slowly increasing.  Sooo... for $216,990... this is what you get... at least when you buy it through me... LOL.  Now... with that in mind... this is a good price.  There are many other homes at this price that do not give you as much... but that is why you need a good Realtor to find you the good values.

So Liz... how can we buy it here for 216K... then move it up to Vancouver... and sell it for 650K.  Now that... is the question... :)

Karen-Anne, I am always amazed at what you get for your money in Ft Worth. That home in Ann Arbor would be in the 400's.

Missy:  The values here are great... and are not the result of a drop in home prices.  This is normal for Fort Worth and Dallas.  What is really cool is... that this home could be... with some buyers... a "first home."  Obviously, that depends on income, etc... but in many areas... this home would be forever beyond the great majority of homebuyers.  Missy... thanks for your kind words... take care...

Jim:  Yes... the curb appeal is great... it really makes for an impressive street-scape.  The home values here in the Fort Worth area are very reasonable when compared to the majority of the rest of the country.  Thanks for visiting...

Hello Karen!  It looks like a wonderful listing!  Someday I will make it down there from Cape Cod to see some of these homes in person.

Rick:  Nice to see you again.  Yes, we have the great housing prices... you have the Cape Cod ambiance.  I am not sure how this home would be... surrounded by all of your white-sided, grey-trimmed colonial and cape cod homes up in P'town.  I just love the look of the homes up there.  In many ways, they are similar to the home-scapes in Cleveland and NorthEastern Ohio.  Take care... hope you are well...

Thesa:  One of the cool things for me about this house... is that it is a builder's house... and does not appear in any MLS anywhere.  I even spoke with the Sales VP yesterday... and she said no... she did not want it in MLS.  Silly her.  Good for me.  Please let me know when your client is considering moving to Fort Worth.  I would love to help them.  And... nice to see you again... hope you are well... :)
