Get Max Exposure by Syndicating Your RSS Feeds- ALL U NEED 2 KNOW!!

So you have learned how to create an RSS feed (If not click here), now what? How are you going to get your content out of the bubble and unto the masses? Syndication is your solution, and it requires submission to feed distribution networks. There are many feed distribution networks, and software that will submit for you automatically (for a fee of course). If you are like me then you like FREE, and here is the free method:

Yahoo - you can submit your feed through a simple submission form!
Feeddirect - You will need to fill out a quick registration form on this page then submit! Feeddirect also allows you to manage your feed through them and keep it live for re-submission. This will automatically ping your feed source to detect changes giving you another feed url to syndicate that is going to be live! Cool stuff indeed
RSS Network - submit RSS feeds & select category
Syndic8 - submit RSS feeds
DayPop - post your RSS feed or blog
Rocket News - post your RSS feed
Technorati - submit your RSS feed to be pinged
Postami - submit rss feeds
Finance Investing Feeds - Only submit finance or investment related feeds.
Realty Feeds - Submit only home related RSS feeds. Be sure to select the appropriate category.
Political Feeds - Submit political feeds and podcasts.
Educational Feeds - Submit feeds and podcasts related to education.
2RSS - submit rss and assign category (on bottom)
NewsMob - submit rss news feeds
Sourceforge.net- submit News using XML

Lets suppose that I already created the xml file, now what? do I need to upload it to my web site and then with the other links link it ? I do not understand, please help :)

This is one extensive list. If I had only known what to search on to get these details. All along I had thought that it was some sort of blog button. I now know the key is RSS FEEDS.

BTW=where do these go on activerain or do they automatically feed everything out?

I just can't get this off of my mind. What would be the best way to get the word out? Most people that aren't techy geeks don't really understand the value of RSS Feeds. What's the benefit?

WOW that's fantastic! I need a little help with this since I am a little behind the times haha. when you submit your RSS feeds, does that mean your blog site is basically listed in their feeds? So RSS feeds is like a directory so to speak?
