I'm fed up, sickened and frankly^$# (*&( ed off at our Congress. I follow politics pretty closely but rarely let it get my goat. This time Nancy Pelosi is the goat and she's BBBBAAAAAAADDDDD!

She wants to save our planet..she alone can do it. She's SUPER Pelosi who is out there to defeat the hurricane and war causing Bush MAN and will NOT let his evil minions even VOTE to allow offshore and Alaska drilling.

Lets get the facts straight people:

25 years ago 60% of our gas was produced right here in the good ole USA. Today it's 25% declining 47%!

OUR PLANET Super Pelosi, consumes 86 billion barrels a day with 20 mil in the US alone.

Why not Super Pelosi, stop the corruption in places like Nigeria or Venezuela and Indonesia, where corruption and the environmental WASTING of the rain forest have decimated the EARTH's LUNGS with the destruction of reainforests to make fields for palm oil and sugar plantations!

Or how bout this Super Pelosi? Here at home 1 of every 3 ears of corn is now STUFFED into a gas tank, causing world wide food shortages and high prices of food here at home!!

Super Pelosi says that $4 a tank is still low and now is happy that we're spending less on GAS. HMMM doesn't that mean production has lessened, our GDP weakened, our dollar dropped significantly!

Mr. Shumer, Super Pelosi's right hand man is committed to saving ONLY those pieces of land which hold the reserves we so desperately need. He doesn't even consider that disturbing the mating secrets of caribou is more important than exploiting the pristine deserts of Arabia...Oh but that's someone else's country and problem right. We take our oil from these unstable countries who give a rat's *(^)(^ about the environment...but these two have to SAVE the PLANET?????

There is more oil and less footprint to drill for the additional oil in our vast wilderness. The area is 1/6th the size of DULLES AIRPORT creating  billions of excess barrels domestically per year. And take in to consideration SUPER PELOSI..that during Hurricane Katrina and Rita that not a single undersea well in the gulf spilled...

Do you think we did it right? Do you think it helps?

Oh of course we have to become more energy efficient and the US is not saying we're opposed to other sources of energy (unless it causes food shortages!!) We've been screaming since the CARTER administration about drilling domestically and NOT ONE of our commanders in Chief has had the cohones to stand up to Congress and the environmental wackos to see it through.

And now SUPER PELOSI won't even let the vote COME before Congress. The American people have been contacting their congressmen like mad and both parties know they better represent their constituency in this matter. There's an election in the fall that will have their jobs if they dont'.

But our Savior SUPER PELOSI says she has to save the PLANET for us since we're too stupid to do so.

I say Miss PELOSI....That's GOD"S Job....not yours....be careful!

Holly:  Pelosi needs to go and I felt that way a year ago, now I feel with her latest political manuever, she really needs to go.  O'Reilly said nothing can be done about it but I disagree, we can vote this sorry Congress out when it comes time if Americans will just remember how bad they really are.  Talk about change when it comes to Presidential candidates - we need to change the do nothing Congress.  Americans can do anything they want to if they really want to!  History has proven just how much we really can accomplish when we pull together.

Follow the money. Look who is recording record profits and then come back and tell me who the bad guys are

You go girl!  I think she is crazy as a loon.  Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees.  That was pretty funny if I say so myself.  I don't write passionately until I get crazed but I did write to her recently and told her to stop giving the money I earned (Social Security) away to programs that continually go to people that didn't put any money into it.  I earned it, I want it back.  That was the idea at the inception and these politicians keep taking and taking and taking. I told her to STOP!

Nice post! I live on a small hobby farm and it kills me what ethanol has done to this country.  Farmers are saying.. forget wheat and corn...let's grow GAS!  Crazy!  Don't even get me started on the dollar...I may just go off on a Jim Kramer-esque rant!

There are 18 million acres of the continental shelf that have been leased that the oil companies have not begun to drill and explore.  Sometimes someone has to take the emotion and put a lid on it.  No new drilling is responsible public policy.  Quite frankly, Speaker Pelosi, has been too spineless in standing up to the misguided policies of the past 7 years.  Remember a balanced budget?  The last Repblican to balance a budget was Nixon in his first year!  All of those Republicans that followed are the reason we are 9.5 trillion in debt, teetering on national bankruptcy, and on the edge of a national depression .

Thankfully in November Congress will have a large enough majority to stop the republican obstructionism.

I guess I don't want oil platforms in my Florida Sunsets and leaking on our beaches.
