Pool and Gazebo on Downs path

I heard this news this morning as I was getting ready for work; Dianne Sawyer was interviewing Neil Cavuto from Fox Business News Channel. I rushed to stand in front of the TV, hoping to hear the source of the information from Neil's mouth...no such luck!

The tidbit came out as an aside and was quickly brushed over by Dianne as the segment on the current economy ended. How did she think the idea would affect her topic? Was it really "off topic" as she appeared to abruptly end the interview? I think not---I think it was an attempt to avoid any further "positive" information to enter the conversation. It just was not what ABC wanted the public to hear during this report. Instead Dianne went to the matter of Neil Cavuto's illness, MS, which he suffers from.

Don't forget, this is an election year and "we need change" in our government, don't we?

Great headline, Paula. It's too bad we won't ever see it on any national news outlet.

Sandy: I am afraid you are right--I have been watching for the national news outlets to respond to the news and have seen nothing regarding this. I also was looking for some headline news about the 5.3% increase in national home sales for July that was mentioned in the latest government reports and have not seen anything about that either!!

Thanks for your input.....

The American Barack Channel, National Barack Channel, Central Barack Service (ABC, NBC, CBS) will never present the news in that format.

It would be completely inappropriate for them since they are openly in the tank for Obama.

All they want to do is report in an aggressive & emotional insinuation to invoke fear and the "sky is falling". And even worse, the public accepts the perceptions.

The media is disgusting! And yes, 97% of us ARE paying our mortgages on time.

Great picture by the way - and of course you are absolutely correct. What's going to happen now is that the market will get skewed.

Owen:  Thanks for your input---I am sure we will find this news buried in the NYTimes, if at all,  and any other liberal news report.

God forbid, it should appear that the major housing crisis is ending!

Simon:  I think it already is skewed and the poor people who absolutely have to sell won't see any improvement at their price level for some time. I just read an article that there is an attempt to "educate" the investing public as to just what those mortgage backed securities are made up of so that they will begin to buy the paper again; this way the banks can begin to sell these securities and therefore build up their lending capabilities to what they once were.---here we go again.I really think that the issue with the "easy credit" was the problem in the first place--it made everybody, including the unqualified, believe they "deserved" to own a house!
