comments and suggestions blogging

I read this article last night

Note that while free blogging hosts are fine for the occasional blogger who doesn't mind his blog  unexpectedly disappearing as a result of the free blog host closing down, along with suffering the problems that occur when this happens, you may still want to consider getting your own domain name and using a commercial web host if you are serious about blogging. At the very least, buying your own domain name will help to minimize the disruptions that occur when you're forced to move from one web host to another. You can then install your own blogging software (free) on your site.

Some of the free blogging make some restrictions and sometimes they may start charging to maintain your blog they also generate revenue from the ads and we post a lot of content and spend a lot of time posting.I have some knowledge about web page and installation of php programs so I will install my own blogging software, there are several free.

I want to hear comments and suggestions and share ideas about this

Thank you

That's why I love AR! It's reliable, it's an active, thriving community that it Google friendly.

With reliable blogs out there, I don't feel it's neccessary to pay for a blog, that's just my opinion!

Have a great week!

Sometimes I think about how I'd be affected if AR suddenly lost my blogs...I've started doing the copy-paste thing in Word because AR has so many errors and often I'll write my blog and then *error* it's all gone!  I agree with Justin and Katie-I wouldn't pay for a blog either.

I am not going to pay for a blog there are a lot of free softwares(I will install a free blogger software on my server)

I will not use a blogger software online, the software will be on my server.I will control the blog and the ads.I will be the owner of the blog and the hoster.

And also I need a blog that support importing RSS feeds. This way you can migrate your entries from your old blog to your new blog
