We've all heard those wonderful/annoying sounds that come from our computers. We have for many years now. You know the ones I'm talking about, and I think just like advertising ads on our screens, we become immune to them both. The clicks, dings, twits, starts, shutdowns, arriving emails, lockups, crashes etc. Are we really listening or seeing for that matter?

I see and hear things much differently after watching this.

You'll never look at your screen or listen to the sounds from your computer the same way ever again. haha! It's genius. I wasn't surprised when I found out this was created by someone named, "SomethingUnreal" on Youtube.

Funny Flash - Here's the most common and unspoken computer tip in the world:

Be careful of the sounds your computer makes when you have your volume FULL BLAST from watching a pourly recorded video just moments earlier. haha!! You've all heard some of these sounds come out of your computers at FULL BLAST, I laugh out loud when I get the visual of that happening to us.

I just had to share this...

I never really pay attention to the computer sounds anymore, I guess I just tune them out.  I do the same thing with the ads I get in email or on my computer screen.  I am becoming Deaf and Blind in that respect.  LOL~

It's very cool at the end how they show all the Windows 98 and XP sound files.  Putting this together was no easy task for sure.

Now when my computer goes "Ding", I'll have this song stuck in my head all day...  Oh Great!  :-)

Brad- That was amazing. I didn't recognize all of the sounds, but I will probably be more aware of them, from now on. Thanks for sharing.

My power source died last night, right in the middle of a melee during online gaming! I'm having a hard time being PC amused today =/

Brad, I think someone has too much time on their hands or doesn't have much of a live.  But, I did enjoy it. AJ

Brad, that was really a pretty cool little symphony.  I usually keep the volume off or headphones plugged in except when I want to listen to something.

That was cool!  Usually most of those sounds, when I hear them, are followed by a grunt or a groan....nothing ever so harmonious.

TLW - believe it or not, I was intrigued, and listened to them all. Where do you find this stuff?  You're a sicko, and thanks!  :-) Just sent a link to my kids! haha...

I think the reason I liked this so much is that I'm a musician, a computer geek, a technology tinker, and I love video and productions.  This was over the top in my book.  When I checked out the sounds on My Windows Vista Operating System, I realized the sequel to this guys song could be really intense....if he decides to do another one.  lol~

BTW - I went in and changed some of the sounds my computer makes now.  I don't recommend using the sounds from TLW's link. haha!  :-)

I wish I had that kind of time! That was very neat...I usually hate hearing most of those sounds but that guy made them sound nice.

TLW- my two boys are really going to get a kick out of that when I show it to them. Thanks!!

This really was a fun, It's rare that I would post something like this, but I just couldn't resist.  I recall cranking up my computer speakers a while back to listen to a video that I could hardly hear, I forgot I had done that, then around 1:20 in the morning, I made the mistake of shutting down my computer.  DOH!  Woke up all the kids, the wife, and the neighbors, even gave the cat a heartattack... I use a BOSE sound system.  I'll never forget that...  I'm still deaf in one ear! lol~

Where do I find that stuff?

Well...One he/she husband, Twin Boys (age 32) and 2 Grand Sons.

If I don't find it on my own they'll certainly point me there.

Just so you know...Kids love that link. Even the little ones. I think the little ones like it because they hear themselves coming out of the p.c. :)

...And when I hear their little symphony...I hand them back to their Mama. I don't do diapers :)

P.S. Glad I gave you a moment of intrig-e-ness. Nope. It ain't a word :)

TLW...ROAR!
