FYI!

Last week, President Bush signed into law the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, which includes a number of elements designed to "jump start" our sluggish housing market!  The centerpiece of the law is
a temporary, $7,500 first-time home buyer tax credit for the purchase of any home. The tax credit can be used for homes purchased between April 9, 2008 and July 1, 2009, and is expected to provide a significant-and
temporary-financial incentive for home buyers.

"The tax credit is the best stimulative measure," said one industry expert and added "It will increase housing demand, get home buyers back into the marketplace and fight falling home prices, which threaten the economy as a whole."

How does this help those of us that are not first-time home buyers?  Well, I am glad you asked!  This measure will pump new home buyers into the market, which will allow our current Sellers to become move up home buyers!  From there, it will be a chain reaction that should put us on a path towards recovery!!

The National Association of Home Builders has launched a new website, www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com , which includes a set of comprehensive questions and answers about how the credit works and how consumers can put
it to their advantage.  Please click over and take a look and pass it along to anyone you know, who might be able to use this tax advantage to make their dreams of home ownership a reality.

While you're at it, with new buyer incentives, if you know of anyone selling their home, have them call Accent Home Staging at 678-978-1477 or visit www.accenthomestaging.biz for details.  Serving Metro Atlanta!  It would be a privilege to serve any of your referrals!
