Hi, Debbie - It looks like it's in good shape for having survived 108 years of living and a foreclosure.

Cheryl - Thanks the reminder - property has right around 2 acres.

Jesse - You're right, it is in good shape. From what the neighbors tell me, this was one of the original farm houses in the area. One room school house is across the street; not used for anything any more.

Debbie, I love old houses...my home is at least that old; they have their own charm to them that you really can't find in newer homes.

Carole - Old homes do have a certain character to them, don't they? They have feeling; newer homes don't seem to have that. Do you think it's the age of the home or just the fact that back then homes were built more for families vs. a builder building a track of homes?

Debbie - this looks like a great house for an antique store...it's very charming and hard to believe it's a foreclosure!  Good luck with the listing!

Lori- I'd love to see this home as an antique store or tea room! Maybe even a used book store. We have no zoning once you're out of the city limits - the sky is the limit with this property!

What a steal!  Someone is sure to pick that up for that price.  It wouldn't make it a second here in Sherwood Oregon.  It has a lot of charm & history.  What a great idea Lori had for an antique store...  We have a year around Christmas store here called Sleighbells.  I can see something like that there too!

I love the older houses! Being on Route 66 makes it ideal for a commercial location. Convert the barn to a workshop for items made on site, then sell them out of the house. Or, turn it into a real estate office!

Lots of potential with that one. have fun!

Amber - Not a bad idea: the home would make a cute real estate office with a little TLC! My office is already on Route 66 but this property is much closer to home!

I'd love to see a retail shop in this property. A shop selling country gifts, jams, etc would be awesome!
