There is has been a lot of talk about the tax credit for first time home buyers and when I first heard about it I thought it was great.  Many first time home buyers go into their first home needing funds to close, makerepairs/updates to their new home or simply just need a little help.  The tax incentive allows just that. It is a 15 year interest free loan of up to $7500 that you can receive when you file taxes. 

Eligible first time home  buyers are individuals who purchased their home on or after April 9, 2008 and goes all the way through to July 1, 2009.  For more information on the tax credit please visit:
