Athol Idaho Turns 99 Years Old This Weekend

Athol is a nice town located in Kootenai County North Idaho. The city will be celebrating its 99th anniversary this weekend in its annual "Athol Days" event.

Highlghts of Athol Days include a parade at 10:00, Charity Auction to Benefits Athol Community Center and City Park at Noon, a Cake Walk at 2:00.

Festivities, Vendor Booths, Games and Family Entertainment in the Athol City Park from 11 am to 4 pm

Athol Idaho is close to the Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park and some affordable North Idaho Real Estate

I tell you what...if you ever are in the area anytime before noon, stop in to the Country Boy Cafe. It is a lcouple blocks west right off the highway. Great service, friendly people and AWESOME food!
