Another life saved from the wilds of the World!

I came home to day, and my wife told me to look under a box in the yard.  A bit skeptical I did, you never know what she may have up her sleeve, and I found a Rabbit.  A full grown, Lop Earred Rabbit.  Now, she has been wanting a "Bunny" for a while now, but, a little one, not one big enough for dinner.

I checked it out thinking it may have gotten away from someone, but our nearest neighbor is more than a 1/4 mile away on one side and 1/2 mile on the other.  The poor thing was skinny as a rail.  Someone had to have droped it off.

Judy caught it just as the cats were closing in on their new play toy.  So, the Feela household now has a pet rabbit, of which we really don't need as we are gone a lot.  But, Maybe, we will find a good home for it SOON!!!

His name is LUCKY.  Lucky we cought him before the cats did.

I'll be lucky if we can find a good home for him before winter!

William, he's adorable! You should keep him! Might want to break the cats in a little at a time but they will eventually learn that he's not a toy. They can make great pets!

Bill...

Aw, he's sweet. I can't believe that someone thought that he could survive in the wild. Good for you!

There is some satisfation from saving an animal.  Not all can be saved, but those that do get saved sometimes make the best pets!
