After a long and protracted Spring with cooler than normal temperatures and a rain that I thought would never quit, my Summer flower garden begins to produce.

White Dahlia with Purple center

I love the Dahlia's as they are large and beautiful and they come in a lot of varietys and shapes.

Photo enhanced Yellow Dahlia

It is fun to play around with the photo editor.

Colorful Grasses

Fan Palm from the garden

The Fan Palms can grow to over 8 feet in heigth this one is about 2 feet.

The flower garden is a great place to relieve stress. I look forward to it every year.

Herb,

These flowers are absolutely beautiful. I relax in my vegetable garden unless I am pulling weeds and grass out of it.

Mike,

Weed pulling is natures way of extracting payment for its bounty.

Herb, love your flower pictures. I have posted pictures from my flowers also. Can't get any veggies to grow worth a darn tho.

Fred,

Didn't do vegetables this year except for 1 Tomato and the Strawberries. Just to late of a Spring. Thanks for stopping by.

Justin,

The beauty of taking pictures of flowers is that they are such an easy subject matter to make look good.

Timothy,

Great question. Off and on for years. Currently about 5 years. For me it goes in streches as gardening is a full time position.
