JUDY, I have a big sweet tooth (especially at night) and that didn't help.  I just wish they were open across the street.

George - You are sooooo funny but there is some truth to what you say. I am glad it's a little drive for me to get there or it could mean trouble.

Joan - Try walking in there and not buying some gooey confection - real difficult.

Marchel - Do you live across from a bakery? I don't think I could do that!

JUDY, no living across from a bakery would not be good.  Last night my sweet tooth was going and then I see your post and I was wishing that bakery was across the street.

Marchel - The smell there is just heavenly - I have to stop thinking about it or I'll be double my size which is already too large.

Gena - The sweets are wonderful there so I only visit once in a while or I would be in big trouble.

Sharon - It was so nice to see you there and it was so tempting - I find it much easier to resist when in the company of another person. I must never go there alone!!!!! I did enjoy the Golden Ginger Ale. Thank you.

Oh boy that sure looks good. I've been buying some home made Raisin bread up here in Bar Harbor... remember that bread? YUMMY! Yesterday I made French toast out of it.

Monika - I do remember that bread and I bet the French Toast was great. Are you coming home from BH today? or did you decide to stay for more rain? I think the rain was a sign to me that it was best for me to stay home even if I wished to have been there with you all. When the sun was shinning here Saturday I thought of our annual trek to Jordan Pond and hoped that you went in spite of our inability to go. Sorry you guys had a soggy vacation.

Are those cookies as big as the look in the picture? OH, I have a soft place in my soft stomach for a good cookie.
