New Construction, Impressive! Cainhoy, SC

I recently sold a new construction townhome right outside of Mount Pleasnt, adjacent to Daniel Island, called Cain Crossing - I must say, I was pretty impressed with the home prices!!  My client got a 3 bedroom, 1700 sq ft, 19' garage, screened in porch, backyard, 25' driveway, cherry cabinets, 5' master bath (in place of garden tub) ALL FOR ONLY $165,000!  AND, they are paying 3% closing costs and $3,000 towards downpayment assitance!!   I think, personally, that buying now is the way to go - so many of my clients are "waiting" until january (for some reason, that's the month I hear over and over) and I think that it's just a good a time as any...the more I look on the MLS each day I notice more and more closings in the less than $300,000 range in Mount Pleasnt, and Summerville is still booming in the $200,000 range....any thoughts?
