I will be holding an open house for a home owner over the holiday weekend. She was unsure and wanted to know, whyI would do this when the house was a FSBO?
Why would I spend my time and money when I don't even have the listing?
I said "you are cooperating with agents aren't you?" when she said yes, I said great. Then I can help you and to be honest you are helping me too. I would love to bring you a buyer! We talked a little bit about what I wanted her to do to show her house, small repairs, staging things like that, then I went on to tell her some on the things I will be doing for her:
I will be running one ad
Open house signs
Virtual Tour
Website exposure: my site www.centralcaliving.com ,craigs list, active rain, etc....
Fliers for when the open house is over
loaner flier box if they want one
Theses are just some of the services I offer
I always want to become their agent and I always feel like if I do my job well the FSBO will see the VALUE in having an agent. I haven't mentioned the mountain of paperwork I will do for them as their agent , but that's another story.
