Top Ten

This week's Top Ten....

1.  I am hoping for a truly inspiring Olympiad.  I find myself feeling very patriotic every four years (and obviously other times as well) and enjoy rooting for the athletes and the usually their stories of overcoming all obstacles.  Good luck to all that aren't cheating!

2.  I can't remember a better summer weatherwise than this past summer has been so far.  We have had beautiful days all summer with much needed rain overnight.  Can you beat it.

3.  I was extremely annoyed to find out the Iraqi government now has a 74 billion dollar surplus.  It just doesn't seem right that we are spending billions to rebuild their country while they have 10 billion in a Manhattan Bank collecting 432 million a week in interest.  Time to start paying war reparations!

6.  I hope this downward trend with gas prices and oil continues well into the fall.  Maybe we can recover some economic momentum, but I doubt it.

7.  I think the drink of choice this Friday evening will be VODKA. 

8.  I have now been inviting our mortgage rep to speak with our agents every week to let them know what is still available to their buyers and what isn't.  I am not trying to make them mortgage agents rather remind them that banks are still writing loans and people we don't think could get financed can!

9.  Referrals, Referrals, Referrals!!!!

10.  What a shame that Obama/McCain are now having to discuss race.  There is no such thing as clean politics!
