Heather, you are quite welcome.  I'm glad if I could help in any way.  I think you're going to be WONDERFUL, I didn't even know you were a Newbie!  You have the right attitude.  You're BIG on customer service and when you see something you feel is wrong, you work on changing it.  You're going to succeed in life, whatever you're doing.  AR is a great place and you're one of the wonderful people I've met!

AR is a great environment to breathe life into someone just starting out or someone that was kinda of burnt out after 13 years (like myself).  It has helped me embrace the web and the new business model all agents are dealing with!

Heather - best of luck to you and keep surrounding yourself with positive professionals like Sarah Cooper and George Tallabus (I must admit they're 2 of my favorites too!) We've only been in real estate for 2 years and we've surprised everyone with our results but from day one we worked with proven successful realtors (mostly out of our area) and we don't listen to "what can't be done" , "that won't work" etc. We come to this business with over 50 years combined as Business Consultants and as so many have pointed out - yes you have to learn the "real estate business' but we find building relationships and customers for life is how we want to build our business.

Not to brag but in our first year we brought 100% of the buyers to the listings we had and our DOM was 27 when the market was 60 rising to closer to 90. Each of our clients wrote us about a 1 page testimonial & I posted a few on our profile page - we ALWAYS care more about our clients than selling any one house and it shows - this week we had 3 people who were referred or solicited us to help them sell their homes - ironicaly, as a teacher, you probably have so many of the skills that will make you very succesful - I imagine you're a good listener, really care about helping others and are a hard worker (my mom was a teacher who just retired outside Philly) - your clients will value that as much as your "market knowlege" -
