As many of you know on July 30th President Bush signed the H.R. 3221 housing bill into law. As part of the housing bill,
Congress created a new temporary tax credit to provide an incentive for first-time buyers.
The $7,500 credit will be available for the purchase of a principal residence on or after 4/9/08 and before 7/1/09.
If you made an offer and was accepted prior to 4/9/08 but closed on or after that date you would qualify.
