For the last year or so I have been paying around $ 2600 a year for home owners insurance on a waterfront rental I own in Gulf Breeze , Florida. All of a sudden I get a call from my insurance agent. He informed me that he has taken on another agency to write policies in Florida. He then said if I were to go with this new company my yearly premium would drop to $ 1120 per year with the same coverages. We agreed to change companies and I am still sitting here scratching my head some 3 weeks later.
I guess I should drop them a note of thanks but I think I will wait a little longer to see if it is a dream or not.
