Making Videos to sell your listings - Peahi Maui home with ocean view

Are you using all the tools you can to spread the word about your listings?  I'm pretty new to the video thing and keep experimenting.  I can't believe how much time you can spend just to produce a 1 or 2 minute movie... assembling the right photos and video clips, getting a soundtrack that works, adding titles.

I'm a big YouTube fan like everyone else, and didn't realize I could make my own page and profile there too.  So I'm building a little collection of videos.  Each one is getting better.

This latest one features a Mau home for sale on the north shore, in the Peahi region.  400 Kulike Road, Haiku Maui.  Just a glimpse of the property really, entering the gate and driving up the drive to the private home, then checking out the spectacular ocean view.  Sort of a tease.  Trying to keep it short.  More next time.

Here's the professional VIRTUAL TOUR, which will show you inside the home.

Making videos is so much work, that I find it better to leave it to a professional and use my time more wisely trying to sell.  The professionals always come out so much better which in turn make me look better

It probably intices someone who sees this video to either call or consider buying there next home in Maui.  That is a pretty effective tool.

Mariia - are you saying my video sucks?  ; )

Ann-Marie - I hope they will call, especially for this home.

Kind of the video equivalent to a cell phone photograph I think.  You owe your seller a much more professional representation.  Plus, you're using copyrighted music I think, which could get you into legal trouble.

Georgina,
It may take some time, but you will get better and faster.  I'm glad that you took the chance and you're doing pretty good.

The positive about "Anon @ 10:23p" is that you should be careful about copyrighted material.  Anything used for commercial purpose ... to make money ... must give royalties to the owners/creators.  Unfortunately, so many agents are using material illegally.  It's kinda like Napster before it went legal.  You're making money off of others works without paying them.

Maria
,
Practice makes perfect, so nothing will be professional the first time.  Just start doing it.  Riding a bike, driving a car, learning how to swim ... making a video ... it's all the same.

Unless you're a very successful agent, sometimes the costs to hire a pro can leave you almost dry when you're paid.  It really depends on the client, price point, etc. of the house you're marketing.
