Greg - That is a very cool list indeed. I need to do one for Austin, perhaps showing which ones live here now (I know Dennis Quaid lives nearby, and Dan Rather has a home in Lakeway).

Hi Greg. I thought Anna Nicole was from Mexia? No?

One time I was in a Radio Shack in Houston and two members of ZZ Top came in. I always pretend not to notice when something like this happens but other people started asking them for autographs.

Shirley - I am always so grateful when people don't take my photo or hit me up for an autograph. I love when people like you pretend not to notice. ;)

Steve - your right! I wonder if that's close enough? lol.

Cindy - Oops! He's my favorite Baseball player of ALL time! When are you getting me an autographed ball?!

Now isn't bizarre that I know that fact? And more importantly, that I know how to pronounce the name of the town correctly!

I didn't know all those people were from Houston. Very interesting. I think of Shannon Elizabeth from Dancing with the Stars fame now.

Greg - That's a pretty impressive list! I might just have to create one for the Raleigh area!

I love ZZ Top. Nice idea for a local blog Greg but that guy in bold at the end of the list? He is famous in his own mind time. I love your blog and your off beat humor. Keep up the great work.

Hey Trey... Yeah, believe it or not I actually know several non-famous folk from Mexia (MuHeyUH)... just briefly though.

Linda - I was shocked to find out she was from Houston..then again, all the pretty ladies are from Houston. ;)

Greg - Don't forget us Dallas girls. I might have to do a post on all the famous DFW famous people. I know all the recent reality show winners have been from the Dallas area - Nashville Star, Think you can Dance, American Gladitor and one of the Cooking shows. I think Texas has its fair share of famous individuals.

Wow....you do have a lot of famous people in your town. My little town only has 2 that I can think of: Ken Griffey Jr.'s wife- Melissa.......and actor Josh Lucas from Sweet Home Alabama. I am friends with Melissa and graduated with Josh.

Anna was born in Houston, raised in Mexia.
