“Mangiamo” - Poughkeepsie Italian Festival

Poughkeepsie is gearing up for one of the area's best festivals of the year! It's time to savor the flavors of Italy. Who can resist this sampling of the best authentic Italian cuisine in the Hudson Valley? This weekend's festival is a reminder of the very strong ethnic heritage of our Italian-Amercan community. I love grazing through the festival as I listen to the upbeat sounds of the band and watch as the members of the crowd dance. This is one local event I am sure to never miss - See your there! ...Mangiamo!

Can I come, Please??? Will you pay for my plane ticket and let me sleep at your house, please, please, pretty please? Oh I miss the fall festival times in NY. Have a great time for me! I'll even attempt driving over the Chimpanzee uh I mean Tappan Zee bridge!

Sara - I will finish the night off with a cannoli - in your honor!

If my wife lived near there you can bet that we would be there. She loves all things Italian and is learning the language. We go on trips there every couple years.

Carol, anywhere that an Italian festival shows up I'm there. If I was in Poughkeepsie I'd love to be across the table from a smiling and laughing Carol enjoying some spaghetti and some garlic bread. Be careful now, don't get the sauce on you : ) Great stuff, these events!!
