Moncks Corner is a quaint little town on the outer edge of the Charleston SC metropolitan limits. It is about an hours drive to downtown Charleston and the beaches. But, most people who live here will tell you that they are not interested in downtown Charleston and its area beaches as much as they are the quite neighborhoods, lower priced houses, the sportsman's nirvana of hunting and fishing on and around Lake Moultrie.
