Margaret - It'll be ok if you can't make it to orientation, it's best if you can, but I understand your previous commitment. You won't want to miss the webinars when they start though.  You'll find that trying to catch up with these once you get behind can be a daunting task as they tend to reflect on what's learned in previous sessions.  I just want to make sure that it all makes sense and dollars in the end for members. Glad you'll be joining us. :-)

I've seen a couple of Pat Kitano's presentations online as well as read TransparentRE. He definitely gets how social media is playing a rapidly increasing role in online marketing and networking. This series is a great value for any real estate agent looking to expand their online presence and generate bottom line results.

John - thanks for that endorsement and confirmation.  Working with and seeing Pat in SF and Monterey confirmed to me that this will be a worthy and valuable series.  We'd love to have you on board as well if you can make it. Pamela - Awesome!  There will be way more than just (2) great minds on these sessions, We've got Kevin Boer as a presenter, and then we have all the great minds of members like yourself.  It just doesn't get much better than this.  I have been wanting to do these for so long, now it's finally happening and I can hardly wait.

This is cutting edge stuff, and the way of our future.  One day, this is how consumers will be watching YOUR presentations and the "How To's" of buying or selling a home.  Video and Webinars are fantastic technology.

Hi Brad! This sounds really cool, but being a 56 year old struggler just to keep up with the latest, I am a little intimidated by some of the classes. Will I be wasting my money, or do you think I will learn and use a whole bunch of the latest "stuff"? (I know you don't have the perfect answer to this question, but if you could just tell me if a newbie can gleem something from these, I would be greatly appreciative.)

Paula - now just wait a minute, age discrimination against yourself has no place in Social Media or in these webinar sessions.  In fact the opposite.  You're entitled and have earned the right to have first shot at this stuff. (wink wink)

Don't be intimidated by this at all.  You are a perfect candidate and exactly who these webinars are geared for.  Here's a chance for you to get your arms around this stuff, understand it, and use it for your business. It's just the same as learning about any other new tool that you knew could grow your profits. 

You will definitely gleam something from these I promise.  People who are attending now are those who really WANT to understand the power of the Social Media and Networking phenomenon (BOOM), and how it will, is effecting the Real Estate Industry and their own personal business.

It was great talking to you on the phone the other day, this is right up the alley of what we were talking about. Much of our discuusion is why I'm so excited about doing this.  The benefits will be huge as it relates to AR, Outside Blogs, and Localism.  Here's a chance for people to really "Get it", and in the comfort of their own homes or offices and in front of their computers.

Bo - I'm stoked!  When I asked Jon about this in the past, there was a great interest in doing something like this, but then Outside Blogs, Localism, Reblog, and Video came along.  Incredible how we've grown in just 3 months.  Just think where we'll be in a year!!  That's what makes these webinars so timely and important.  Until now, I just haven't had the time to put anything like this together. Hi Brad, Thanks for the info, I'll plan on attending. A question, was that the No. CA CRS Chapter you were refering to? You know several of us in the Rain are SoCal members including our Pres.-elect Marlene Bridges and Jeff Dowler is a current officer. Maybe we could put something on like that down here?

Great advice. With so much great advice out there on-line, it's often hard to shell out money for something like this. I often find myself getting info that I have already heard. But I am thinking about this one...

Brandon - it's your call my friend.  No pressure, there's no sales pitch here. The reality is that you're right about there being so much information out there on the web. Maybe you've heard it all, maybe not. 

Here's my thought for you:  Having a structure in place, a proven track record and history, and not having to go find all this stuff out there on your own and hope it's reliable and reputable, is a big factor in my opinion. 

We've all heard the terms Social Media, Network Marketing, SEO, etc. but look how many places we've had to go and how many hours we've spent to research and try to discover the meaning and value of all this stuff??  There's no way you'll find all that will be covered in these webinars in that short of time and at that price.  It's absolutely impossible. 

You're going to spend that money and time somewhere anyway, you might as well have something to really show for it.  In the end, who cares if you only learn 10 new things that make you thousands of dollars, wouldn't that make it worth it even if you had heard it somewhere before? Just something for you to ponder my friend!  :-))

David - hopefully over at your place chasing raccoons away from the cats and drinking a cold one in the back yard with our laptops on your patio table sharing a good laugh amongst good friends. 

See, I do have a plan here. LOL~  There's just too much in life I still have yet to see, one of those being every state in the Country and abroad.  You will definitly be on my non-virtual "world tour" for sure.  :-))

The orientation went well this morning. Cleared up some house keeping items etc.  Before the sessions begin on Sept 5th, it's been suggested to get a head start and create a profile on LinkedIn, FaceBook, and Twitter.

Of course you should already have an ActiveRain profile setup, and you'll be good to go.  It was great seeing many of you today, I'm really looking forward to the upcoming sessions, there will be a lot of value and information shared at these webinars.
