Being a new Realtor in Delaware, Kent County or Sussex County, or anywhere really, can be hard or trying (if you let it!). I have been a Realtor since May of 2008 and at first it was like AH when will the business come, but in fact it has- and it has been smooth sailing ever since.
Being a NEW sales person in any industry is going to be hard. Why you may ask. Well think of it this way, you are going to buy a car and you have the choice between the guy who has been there for 15 years (who people are lined up to talk to) or the guy sitting at his desk with no customers who just started last month. Who do you naturally think is going to give you the better deal? The guy that has been there for 15 years. He knows what to say, what to do, and how to do it, to give me the best possible deal for my money right?! Well not exactly. They all have to report to the same guy, the used car manager, or the new car manager, and they all get the same deal. The key is to go in on the day that the manager is in a really really really good mood, you know like the day before his vacation, or the day after he got a raise! Haha, just kidding! No really!
So anyway, being a new Realtor for Kent County as well as Sussex County started out slow. I ended up catching a deal and sold a high value home in about 14 days no too long ago and things have been going well since then. Since then I have lined up a few more contracts, as well as a couple listings. Things are going well now and I am so glad that I have had the first few customers I have come into contact with have this strong of faith in me! I am trying to get my name out there in any possible way I can via the internet, the mail, posting at local shops, and getting out around the town. I want people to know that although I may be new, I am a third generation realtor that has been around the business for about 20 years, and this is what I was MADE to do. I love what I do, and I work hard. I work for YOU.
So if you are looking to buy or sell real estate, property, home, land or lots, in Milford, Harrington, Houston, Lincoln, Felton, Frederica, Woodside, Camden, Dover, Ellendale, Bridgeville, Greenwood, Farmington, Lewes, Slaughter Beach, Bowers Beach area then I am the guy for you!
