Schatze's Winter Wonderland -- Kids of all ages are invited to play in the snow and meet Schlitterbahn's beloved mascot Schatze all decked out for the holidays.

Train Display -- Bring back the memories of your childhood while enjoying the timeless tradition of a holiday train display. Does anyone remember going down to Joske's in San Antonio every Christmas tol see the train display in the Christmas Wonderland? I'm going to enjoy this one.

Santa's Workshop -- Come explore the North Pole filled with a variety of whimsical animated light sculptures, Holiday Illuminations light show and snow, snow, snow.

Rudolph's Reindeer Barn -- Come hug and have your photo taken with the most famous reindeer of all.

Winter Wassail Hot Tub -- Stay toasty warm this holiday season under the stars in a giant outdoor hot tub. Spirits available.

Looks like they are going to have allot of fun things to do.

SHOWS:
Scrooge's Haus -- He's back and he's not happy about the holidays. Be sure to capture the fun and banter of Mr. Bah Humbug himself. Several shows nightly.

Christmas Reflections: A River of Lights Spectacular -- Be inspired by an innovative, immersive light show choreographed to new Christmas classics along the banks of the Comal River. Several shows nightly. I will update and pass on info.as it comes available for the show times.

Holiday Illuminations -- Brrrrr ... get ready to get caught in a blizzard of snow as guests visit the North Pole and watch Santa's workshop come alive with dancing lights and animated sculptures synchronized to festive holiday tunes. Several shows nightly.

I will think this will be really nice with all the Illuminations.

Live Entertainment -- An assortment of entertainment is presented throughout the park including Christmas carolers, street performers and bands.

If you get through all this and your not too tired you can go shopping.

Christmas Shoppe -- Located in a beautifully restored 150-year-old Hill Country home, the Shoppe is filled with three floors of unique, designer collectibles elaborately displayed throughout holiday-themed rooms.

Dale - This will be the first year. I am sure it will be great. These folks do a great job with theme parks duringthe summer and I'm sure the Christmas theme will be the same. I put it out early so people can start making plans and reservations. The tourist love our area during the winter; all the snow birds love it here and in south texas. They use to go to Florida but many have started coming to Texas and spending the winter in their RV. (I wonder what they will do with the price of gas being so high). Probably cheaper then paying high heating fuel bills.

Carl, we may have to take the grandchildren to some of the attractions you mention.  And I will have to check out the shopping. :-)

Judi - I think it will be super. Also be sure to drive around the square and see the Christmas lights on your way to Schlitterbahn. They also have a nice parade of home lights down off Common St.

Shirley: The kids will enjoy and of course the shopping should be good. I'm really glad to see Schlitterbahn putting together this project.

I'll keep reminding as time goes by and we find out more info.

Carl, I'm looking forward to it too.  Of course, Don may ban me from going -- I already have way too much Christmas decorations...   :)

Judi, Ceil did too but now giving some to the daughter-in-laws. We are beginning to really down-size in every-which-way. Went to a small tree last year, artifical and no outside decorations. We use to have two Christmas trees and lots of decorations inside and out.

Carl, I used to have 2 large trees and a small one in the kitchen.  I've had to downsize but we actually did have 2 trees last year -- a small one in the entry and a large one in the family room.  I have enough decorations for a huge house (which I don't have anymore).  I just change my decorations around each year now.  Will go through them this year and send some up to New Jersey for my daughter to use in her first house.  :)

Don's as bad as I am at buying decorations for the holidays.  He just bought a Christmas Train set to arrange under the Christmas tree!!!   :)   There will be pictures!!   hmm, wonder where we put the presents this year -- oh, under the tree in the entry hall.  :)

Wow!  This sounds like a great time.  I may have to take a trip down to check it out!  Of course, that is always such a hectic time with holiday parties, etc., that who knows if I can get away.  But it sure sounds like fun.

Steve, that's a great time to come down to New Braunfels & San Antonio.  Shopping in New Braunfels and then stopping at the San Antonio Riverwalk to enjoy the Holiday Lights there!  See you in December!!!  Make sure you let Carl & Ceil and me know you're coming -- maybe we can arrange to meet you.  :)
