Wow can you imagine hunting in 94 degrees. South Carolina has the longest deer season in the nation in the 28 lower counties. Season is open from August 15 to January 1 every year. Lexington County is one of the open counties for August 15. Its a time honored tradition for the southern gentleman to take this day to have fellowship with his fellow hunters. Some counties take the whole day off and school attendance is low as the hunting fellowship bounds.

My son and Husband are a few of the southern gentleman that will be in the woods this coming weekend. Between ball practice that is.

South Carolina is a sportmans paradise. Lexington SC is a great place to enjoy all the action!
