We are all about your interests. We hate the pressure selling approach that is used by a huge amount of agents in this industry.
Yesterday, Tuesday of this week, we had a mother and daughter in our offices that came to us via a sign call from one of our Valencia Homes For sale.
I had spoken with both the mother and the daughter via telephone and set up an appointment for them to come into our offices and meet with us. Intimidating, of course. But we are not selling shoes or bags. Real Estate should not be taken lightly. In fact, you have no problem meeting with your doctor for advice and check ups. You are probably going to be spending a heck of a lot more on a home than medical care, you should sit before the hunting starts, and pick an agent or agents that are going to represent you better than anyone else out there in the Real Estate forum.
We are not doctors, and I would never, ever, impersonate one. But I would throw caution to the wind - It is important, when you are looking for a home, primary, investment or someone to sell yours, that you find those that have your best interests at their core and above and beyond them saying their number one - but them viewing you and treating you as number one.
The mother and daughter were quite apprehensive. They wanted to go out and see some homes the daughter had emailed to me. We sat them down anyway and explained how this Real Estate thing works. We explained about the loans, we covered the short sales, foreclosures, auctions, we covered the various cities, schools and community resources. We covered it all. So as I was explaining and as Paris was speaking I watched as they lowered their guard and they became more relaxed.
They observed that we are not trying to sell them anything. We did not want them to buy anything. We just wanted to let them know what to watch out for and how to best protect themselves. Simple. As we explained, if we take the best care of them with regard to all of their Real Estate needs, then they will not stop referring us to everyone they know. I'll take it, gotta love this play it forward approach The Paris911 Team has with regard to our Relational Business Model and our Full Disclosure Real Estate.
