Calling all A|R specialists.  TO DATE: 152 people have looked at this post and 31 have clicked through but no-one cared to drop a comment.  I know Titusville is a very small town, but am I the only one who cares about Titusville - that would be very sad as it has so many special features.  Come on Rainers, if you visit me, be assured that I ALWAYS reciprocate!!!  :-)

Here's the comment: That's a pretty ambitious production... I'd love to see how they do. We have a local playhouse that specializes in musicals. My first inclination was to think that the performance would be lacking. I was surprised though- it's amazing how many talented people live within a community. We now take in two or three productions a year.

Hello Old Faithful Chuck   LOL  Wish I could tell you I saw the play -we were supposed to see it last Friday, we'll be seeing it this Friday instead.  My theater group said it was a very good production so I'm looking forward to it.  Unfortunately a good friend's father passed away last week, the wake was on Friday and I wanted to be there for Susan.  Thanks Chuck, you're a good buddy :-)

BTW - I love this little playhouse, everyone puts their all into it and it's very sweet.  It only holds about 225, nice and cozy.

Here's our local group: Broadway Palm Dinner Theater ... their musicals tend toward the extremes, classical musicals the, ahem, well-seasoned audience and enjoy or something for the kids.

Hey Chuck - I took a look at your excellent lineup and immediately noticed your plays run a lot longer than ours do.  Yours run 4 to 5 weeks; ours only about 2 weeks - probably has to do with the number of residents.  Titusville has about 45,000 citizens, quite a bit less than Mesa (we've been to Mesa, a friend used to live there back in the late '90's).  Interesting you should mention a well-seasoned audience, upstairs from our little Playhouse is (was) Emma's Attic.  Come to think of it, I haven't seen anything going on up there in several months; I'll check it out - thanks for the memory jog!!  A larger than life persona left the theater many months ago, and....it seems things have changed..hmmm...another venue to investigate!

We have many options for plays/musicals/etc. I'm glad the local venue is holding its own. It's helped by the busloads of seniors that come in from all reaches of the valley. Next time you're in Mesa give us a holler. :-0

I love the small local playhouses.  I frequent two in my area that have maybe 15 and 25 rows.

Always curious why so many people click through to the blogs and then don't comment???

Hi Chuck - be careful what you ask for :-) Thank you for the invite, same back to you of course.

Lisa - I find the small theaters are more personal and interactive.  Titusville would not be the same without the Emma Parrish!  On the issue on commenting, I've done the same, so I'm not blameless.  Sometimes I read a blog and if it's over my head with some intricate SEO stuff I just hang out to learn...but I usually try to say something!  Thanks for dusting off this old post and bringing new interest to our little theater.
