Villages are connecting via sidewalks

Today the Mayor stopped at the office to tell us the Villages of Kinderhook and Valatie will be connected soon by a new sidewalk. This will be great for senior citizens who can expand their early morning walking routine. Also the many runners we have will be able to run safe on the sidewalks and not in the road. I hope the bikers we have will take their turn too. Street lights will be coming next I am sure. We already share some of our road crews with Valatie and some day maybe the septic will be shared. Kinderhook, old as it is missed the boat sometime ago when the roads were dug up for DOT road work. We should have laid pipe for septic then but missed the opportunity for sure. Everyone has their own septic which is a negative when new business is interested in the village square. hats off to all the village fathers who put this together. Another reason to visit Camelot.
