Do you really think that Down Payment Assistance will end?  All the first time home buyers that I have used have used either down payment assistance or HUD's $100 down program.  I would love to work with buyers who have money, but they all seem to be in need of selling a home first.  So what is next for first time home buyers?  How will these changes effect the near future?

There is a lot of resistant's to discontinuing the down payment assistance program from both the real estate and building communities. I would look the guidelines to be adjusted.

Good luck and success

I think it will be a year or two before the creative solutions have a chance to make their way back to the market...  Good luck!

90 days, within 90 days of this going away they will realize what a mistake they made and reinstate DPA. sales will go down and first time buyers will be way down which will send ripples through the market.
