Loved it! Your pop ups are working just fine as well. I must thank you for clarifying that we should respond in the comment section. For a second I thought you were displaying how agressive you could be telling us to comment 'down there'!

Frank.......................... I love it good job. Next time try to keep it no more than 3 mintues, short snippets on different topics will keep the attention of the consumer easier. I'm so proud of you for taking the plunge.

Frank, I did get a little dizzy watching that and think it's a great concept.  Perhaps you can have the camera held in a stationary place rather than attached to the wheel.  Also, I have to admit that I didn't watch the entire thing.  I agree with Missy that shorter snippets would be more compelling than a 9 minute video.

Brian, If I didn't attach it to the wheel, it would lose the entire point of the Wheel Estate Cam. And if I did it on the dashboard, I would just be like IatWatts.ca , the guy that originated the Realtor car conversation.

As for length, the true target is people buying bank properties. I found that those few want everything. More content. So I don't mind if ActiveRain people turn it off after a couple of minutes, but the actual serious consumer... wants more.

I could be wrong.

(I've also been told my blog posts are long, but true buyers eat up each word)

Hi, I'm one of Megan Buckley's clients.  I love the blog and chose your company because of it .

I'm totally dizzy now, but that was helpful.  (I ended up minimizing the window and just listening for the last half, the spinning was just too much.)  I kind of agree with the comment above that you should stick strictly to what's unique to bank-owned properties -- you can read/watch about Frankly CRA elsewhere on this blog and that kind of took a lot of time.  But the part on escalation clauses and how banks don't take them was great information, along with the clean contract thing ... thanks for sharing!

I've got to go take a Dramamine now, but it was good. You might try taping the camera to the dashboard instead of the steering wheel.

Frankly, I have a tad of vertigo, but your message is wonderful.  Great job for your first real estate web cam.  Reblogged and keep up the fantastic job.

Oh Great, the DC Council is now going to have to pass a law that prevents videography while driving. :)

Call me a dork! I watched the whole thing, didn't get sick and actually learned something! It was kind of cool making those turns - but glad your nose was clean - very important for the winter months! I've had a lot of hair pulling dealings with banks lately, and glad to pick up on these tips. Recently went into a multiple offer situation and my buyers paid higher than the asking price and yet only beat out the competition by a small amount.

You did it. I guess I was spinning my head trying to keep the picture in a more standard way, so if you could mount it on the dashboard, or on visors, this could help. I do not know whether then it would be worth makign them a bit shorter, as the combination of spinning and length felt a bit too much, but this is the start, so looking forward to the future.

Frank, looks great with the top down!  22 offers is nuts!  I saw a listing on MLS the other day and it said in the remarks "No more offers.  We have 22 offers."  I'm guessing it must be the same property.

What can I say?  Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

It's nauseating.

It's dangerous.

It's gimmicky.

It's amateurish and unprofessional.

I don't see why people think that videotaping themselves DRIVING is intriquing or interesting to anyone.

The content is good, the delivery method is just plain idiotic.

It was too long. The idea of the cameria on the steering wheel and in a car was not good because it distracts from the content.

I didn't watch the whole thing but wow what an idea!  I love it! I have tried resting my hand on the door and video-ing neighborhoods but that was to shacky.  Maybe I will try the dashboard.  I appreciated your sense of humor too.  About the Polo Shirt!  Thanks for the thoughts and the laugh!

A unique way to communicate. As a young professional I find the driving thing pretty cool!

Have you considered video tours? Seems like you are really into video.
