Liz-I took a picture of this flag in the morning when I was going to check out a possible listing.  Dang....great picture, good lighting, and NO MEMORY CARD :(   Then I came back in the later afternoon and this is one of the ones I got......maybe I just liked the "one that got away"   LOL :)  I have a flip video now too but haven't used it yet....I will though for sure.  You're smart to take yours with you everywhere......

Bill- Yep, and sometimes it's not just the perfect picture that you think, but another one might just happen.  I have some very timely ones of fires and all sorts of things.

Trunda- Thanks....Having our own pictures keeps us out of trouble, even inadvertent trouble.

Randy-Thanks....there's a big Oak near me that has a bunch of flags, a makeshift memorial...that will be my next photo.....but you might want to get a picture of your flag anyway, and hey if yours is better than mine will you share..... LOL :)

Debbie- Oh how many times I needed just a simple thing.  I take most of my own photos that way I never worry....but sometimes you just can't.  I too have a stockpile of them, now I just need to get them better organized.

Carol- Have you looked at all the flag ones....wow it would blow your mind.  I spent hours looking, and trying to find a free one with no restrictions......and gave up :) 

Howard- I think you are such a gentleman...that was a nice compliment :)

Cameron- Although I liked your feedback, (flip the flag around) I do not like all the advertising in your comment, plus the link to your site....totally against AR rules....therefore taken off my Post.  No offense.....just that it isn't in the spirit of blogging :)

Neal- you got contacted twice....ouch!  Well the good thing is you had 2 decent copyright owners, you could have had one that just wanted to "sue you" :)  Thanks for that real life advice it's greatly appreciated.

Laura- yes it's free but have you read all the terms....can you use the photos for commercial, and how about attribution to the photographer....sometimes I find that distracting to have to put all that info into my Post.  I haven't tried this site so I don't know....but I do know that in my search I went to many sites, and they didn't work for me.  Another consideration is  do I want the same photo as 100,000 other people :)  Just take our own, and solve the problem :)

Cynthia- I will share with you my Southern Friend, hey you have all those Military Posts...where do you get your flag photos?

Michael-Yep....and I was surprised.  How many times do we just click OK "I agree " :)  I'll bet there isn't a handful of people on here that have read every line on the Terms of Service....for any photo they got from the Internet.

Not signed in- yes, I have a great Military hat one from that site.....but again I don't want the same photo as everyone else:)

Sally-OK...we can start our own Photo Sharing...a select set of photos starting with all your best copyrighted Hawaiian ones LOL :) 

Audrey-Take a deep breathe...1, 2,3.....now exhale :)  whining is not allowed in Maryland, it's a new rule that went into effect while you were on vacation LOL :)  You'll have Internet soon....and that's funny you thought I copied the picture to make a point....and how much of a fine is that point worth :)

Lisa- Oh yes...you never know when you need a lizard...or 2 :)  You have the right idea...we just never know what we may need :)  Hey I hope all is well with you.......

Cynthia- I have my plan to get several Flag photos....you have my permission (this is a public place right...so my public approval) to use any of my Flag Photos you might want.  I have the size on here, and a bigger size also :)

The only thing you can't have are the Lizards...those are my ticket to Lisa's house in New Orleans :)

Lisa-Yep...I remember being in the Military over in South Carolina for the Summer....hot wasn't the word, hot, humid and chiggers...that's what I remember.  Those are some lucky lizards if we have to wait LOL :)  I was half way to the car, and said wait I have to take more flag pictures for Cynthia, and finish my own land pictures for my new listings...dang I'll just have to wait for New Orleans :)  Put a picture here of the porch...that'll work for now ....thanks for the smile...it's really humid here today also, and miserable.

William- Hello there my friend.  Did I ever tell you that I even have a stamp that has a whole bunch of copyright info on it for print photos LOL :)  Guess it's time to do a digital one...thanks for4 the info.  And taking our own photos is the way to go for sure.

Why Hello My Canadian Friend, I like hearing that you had fun going to take your own photos of flags and stuff :)  There's a huge one a few towns away that I want to get, but the weather has to be just right :)  so nice to see you :)
