Districts must meet all AYP goals in order to be in compliance with Federal standards for education including subgroups as well as the overall student population.  The AYP goals that school districts must meet include the following:

 (The AYP goals are based on the percentage of students in the district who pass different tests [achievement/OGT])

• Grade 3            77.0% pass reading;     68.5% pass math
• Grade 4            74.6% pass reading;     73.7% pass math
• Grade 5            74.6% pass reading;     59.7% pass math
• Grade 6            80.6% pass reading;     64.1% pass math
• Grade 7            74.9% pass reading;     57.8% pass math
• Grade 8            79.0% pass reading;     58.0% pass math
• Grade 10          77.4% pass reading;     68.0% pass math
• Graduation Rate:           73.6%
• Attendance Rate:          93.0%
• Test Participation:         95.0%

 Your report card will state whether your district/school building either "Met" or has "Not Met" AYP standards.
