LOCAL REALTOR^® ACHIEVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION

Rockford, MI , -- Charlene Hammontree with U.S. Home & Realty has been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES^®) designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS^® (NAR).

Charlene Hammontree, a Rockford resident, joins more than 16,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the SRES^® designation.  All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations, and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.

“I feel it is a privilege to be able to help families move memories. I hold this designation near and dear to my heart having to watch my own parents move their parents and dealing with aging parents as well. So many times families are out of state or dealing with their own families and are not able to guide their loved ones during this stressful and sometimes exciting time. Having someone who is experienced to ask the questions that could be uncomfortable for some family members can open many choices for proper home ownership options to make the transition smoother.  I enjoy the planning and the process the most, the home ‘sale’ is the bonus!
