The best agents in the Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and south Fort Myers market can apparently be found at John R. Wood REALTORS@ according to a recent article in REALTOR Magazine.
While the nationwide housing market was very sluggish in 2007 and even in Southwest Florida, some area professionals still managed to shine!
JRW ranks in the Top 100 (93rd) of all real estate companies in terms of total sales volume for 2007 - $1,222,600,000. That's Billions Sold each year!
- Average sales volume per agent - $4,075,200 - is twice that of Downing-Frye, the only other Naples company in the Top 100.
- Downing Frye has 647 agents; While John R.Wood has less than half that at 300.
Is there a reduction in sales volume per agent compared to 2006? Yes; a reduction of about 6 percent for JRW. But it is still a positive number considering that the average decline in sales volume for all offices surveyed was 10.1 percent. And we did it with about 20 percent fewer transaction sides than we had in 2006.
The two area companies were among only four real estate firms in Florida to make it on the Top 100 list this year.
