Maple Valley, Wa hosts the West Seattle Big Band at Lake Wilderness

By
Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty

Last week's Music in the Park event at Lake Wilderness drew members of the community together for some fun picnicking, swinging and dancing under the tall pines against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Wilderness.

Music in Maple Valley

The West Seattle Big Band played old favorites and new revivals, like Bare Necessities, and Jump n Jive. The kids were the first to start dancing around the grass, parents and grandparents were soon to follow!

Tonight's entertainment: The Night Train Blues Band

Oh, I wish we had a big band playing at our summer concerts, I haven't seen that yet. I love big band music and would drive even further to see a big band.

Kent is a little to far though,

Hi Todd, Sunday night concerts in my hometown were part of what made summer great. Everyone would gather and hang out in the park and listen to the local band play. Yes, Kent and Maple Valley are a little far from Beaverton though.. but you are sure welome anytime!
