21 consecutive days of a specific action = a new habit.

I recently took a class and was reminded of something I had heard before.  If you have an action that you are trying to make a habit such as blogging or sending out personal notes, just make a goal and do that action for 21 consecutive days and on day 22 it will become second nature and new habit that can make you more productive.
