Chevy VOLT --- Put my name on the waiting list!!!

I put my name on the list to purchase the Chevy Volt. I don't know if you have heard about it, but it is a car that will be able to go 40 miles on battery charge and can be charged from a regular wall outlet. The car is estimated to go 400 miles on one tank of gas.

Other then the car helping to reduce gas costs, I figure it will be a great conversation starter. "Oh, I am a Realtor, do a lot of driving and this car helps reduce my fossil fuel use." Bye bye Mercedes and hello to Chevrolet.

Billie, This has real potential for GM. I think that it a good-looking car. If they can deliver on quality, it should be a winner. FYI, I noticed that the avg. person on the list was willing to pay $31,000+.

Shhh I buying some GM stock....

There was a fascinating article online at CNN.com about average everyday people getting tired of waiting for cars like this and converting their own to electric mode.

Billie, thanks for buying a GM product. Many autoworkers here in my area will also thank you.
