Can I ask this question-why are so many people scared to have a living trust prepared? I think the majority of people I deal with do not have a living trust why? if something happens don't they realize that without a living trust that everything would go through probate-or how about the people that do have living trusts and they forget for some reason to fund it with title to their homes.

This is especially important if you own real estate in different states, otherwise probate will be required in each state where the properties are located.
