I remember going to a basketball game the year after my daughter went to college and the other parents looked at me with amazement. Then they indicated we must not have much of a life if we were coming to the high school games with no kids playing. It does become a big part of you life.

Missy-The part in your post about not having a football player or a cheerleader anymore really touched me. Yes, we move on and treasure those memories. But I miss the days when they were all younger sometimes.

Missy - I can tell from previous postings how much you liked sports and your family was so involved in one way or another; as parents we hate to see tradition go by.  I am sure there is much excitment in the area about the upcoming football season.

Missy, I love football season so much you may find me at a Bonnable Bruin game on Friday night, Tulane or LSU on a Saturday night and a Saints game on Sunday. I am a big fan.

Kelly, yes we do, even U of M plays before classes start. This is the showcase for football of all the area high school teams. School does start here on the day after labor day, by state law now.

Frank, you and I are on the same page, we are a football family, love it all.

Katerina, Jennifer, I will survive, but I know we will attend games, just have to find a player to follow, my neighbor is on the 9th grade team, but the freshman play on Thursday nights.
