The Daleville Public Library is having a bake, book and rummage sale. The Daleville Library is located on Donnell Boulevard in Daleville. The Event will be September 5-6 from 10 am until 3 pm.

The Lower Alabama Veterans Alliance (LAVA) will hold its regular monthly meeting at 11 am on August 16 at the Daleville VFW, Post 6020. The guest speaker will be Alabama State Representatvie Jay Love. For more information on this organization call Fred Griffin at 334-445-1683.

The Fort Rucker Community Spouses' Club is having a membership drive on Thursday, August 21 from 10 am until 1 pm at Aviators' Landing. CSC is seeking new members for 2009. All spouses of retired and active duty military personnel and all Fort Rucker civilian employees and their spouses are encouraged to come out and join the club.

The Friends of NRA will be having a meeting on September 25 starting at 6 pm. The VFW located at 434 Highway 84 East Daleville, AL 36322 will house the event. For additional information contact Susan Posey
