How to buy a house in St. Louis?

This is a quick blog post on the topic of buying a house in St. Louis.

Its not really about "how to" but more about "should you".

Is now a good time?

Absolutely.

sort of. Buying your first home in St. Louis is easier because you have nothing to sell. its the folks that have a house to sell first before they can buy another one that are in a pinch. It's a buyers market so having to sell puts you at a disadvantage.

If you are a first time home buyer or renting currently and are looking to buy, now is the time.

St. Louis real estate is on sale!  if the grocery store told you that over the next week all items would be on sale for 10-20% off the regular price, you would do a lot of shopping that week! Yet when the real estate market in St. Louis and everywhere else is "on sale" people are afraid to buy!

That's just my take on the topic.
