Tonight's outdoor cinema will be a very special one. The feature is The Business of Fancydancing by Sherman Alexie .
There will be a pre-film guest appearance by bestselling and award-winning novelist, poet and film-maker Sherman Alexie, who has won numerous awards for his writing, and is the only four-time winner of the World Poetry Bout. The guest appearance is presented by Village Books as part of their Chuckanut Radio Hour.

Literature Live at Village Books pesents Ken Wilcox with TRAILS OF THE CHUCKANUT MOUNTAINS MAP
Ken Wilcox will present a slide-show about the many of the great trails in the Chuckanut Mountains.Some of the proceeds from the sale of this map are donated to the Chuckanut Conservancy to help promote and restore public land in the Chuckanuts.
Local author Ken Wilcox has lived in the community since 1967 and is an avid explorer of the North Cascades, as well as a writer and consultant for environmental and recreation projects. Some of his books are, Hiking Whatcom County, Hiking Snohomish County, and Hiking the San Juan Islands.
