The morning is a fresh start, a new beginning. No matter what happened the day or days before, the morning is a chance to redeem, to re-think and re-design. If I wake up less than full speed from the day before - unfinished business or a less than ideal outcome lingering on my mind - I step back into a unrelated activity until it dissipates away - maybe reading, painting or intense exercise. All that is left is the present moment, a beginning of new day, no matter what time it really is, and chance to recreate my "day". And that is why yesterday evening when I answered the phone call from a prospective client, I inadvertently greeted him with Good Morning, Marcy speaking.  Did I loose a client? Nah. It was instant rapport.
